National Student Radio Conference

Ireland’s first ever National Student Radio Conference hosted by NUIG’s Radio Soc in conjunction with Societies Office in NUI Galway and CRAOL. The focus of the event will be all-encompassing of the medium of radio and the structures built around it. The event will focus on 3 strands of radio- Theory, Practical and General- with experts and people directly involved in radio giving talks on varying topics within these strands. The event is specifically aimed at students from all around Ireland, but is open to all comers.
NSRC takes place on the evening of Friday 7th March and all day from 11am on Saturday 8th March in Áras na Mac Leinn in NUIG.
Speakers include: Gavin Jennings (RTE) , Simon Maher (8Radio, Phantom) & Alan Swan (i105-107, 2FM), Julien Clancy (Sounds Alive), Ollie Turner (Galway Bay FM), Mairead O’Connor and Mary McDonnell (Grey Heron Media) and many more.
